Felicie Howell was born in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1897. She studied at the Corcoran Art School and Philadelphia School of Design for Women. She was a member of the American Watercolor Society and the Society of Painters of New Yok. She taught painting at the New York School of Appied Art and Painting. She won numerous awards for her paintings, many of which were made while cruising the coast of New England. Felicie Howell died in 1986.
