     Guy Billout is well known for his work in The Atlantic Monthly magazine.  He has contributed a regular feature since 1982 for which total freedom is granted.  He works for many other clients including Esquire, Fortune, Le Monde and L'Express (Paris), Newsweek, The New Yorker, and Rolling Stone.  Born in France, he came to New York in 1969 with the intention of becoming an illustrator.  In his career, Guy Billout has not only worked for many periodicals and corporate clients, he has also written and illustrated 8 children's books.  Four of the titles were chosen by The New York Times for their list of the year's 10 Best Illustrated Children's Books.
