Scott Cameron is celebrating his 25th year as a Maritime Artist. Starting his career as an exhibitor in the Mystic Maritime Gallery in 1982, the artist was selected to do the 1983 and 1987 America's Cup prints. The artist began creating luminist landscapes in the late 1980s with an emphasis on wetland vistas. The four new prints the Mystic Seaport has released this spring are a fair measure of the artist's output. Light atmosphere and a quiet majesty are hallmarks of his style and his dedication of and to the environment. As a genuine cross over talent the artist has given Mystic Seaport a fresh direction that they add to a growing portfolio of quality artwork.
