     Terry Allen was born 1956 in Salem, MA.  A graduate of Syracuse University.  He lives in Chappaqua, NY with his wife, son and 2 cats.  He works in gouache through an air brush on paper.  He has created murals and posters for Niketown, French Line, Perrier, the Paris Las Vegas, Quiznos, DiGiorno and Forbes.  He illustrated William Safire's "On Language" weekly in The New York Times magazine for eight years.  Other clients include Swatch, Starbucks, Kripy Kreme, Bloomingdales, Target, Neiman-Marcus, IBM, Major League Baseball World Series, Time, Newsweek, Esquire, Rolling Stone, New York, Random House, Simon & Schuster, Reprise and Blue Note.
